Some kids need to catch up. Some are ready to go further. We work with both.
At FuseLit, every student starts with a diagnostic assessment. From there, we create a Custom Learning Plan built specifically for your child, support them between sessions with structured guidance, and provide monthly progress reports so you always know what is improving.
This is a structured learning program, not a drop in tutoring session.
“Our daughter is finally confident in math again. She’s no longer confused or second‑guessing herself.”
– Ty'easha P., 7th grade parent, Odenton, MD

What Every FuseLit Family Receives
Every student begins with a skills assessment so we know exactly where to start.
We then create a Custom Learning Plan built specifically for your child and updated as they grow, so they are always working at the right level.
Students are supported between sessions through structured assignments and guided learning that continues beyond each session. They are never left wondering what to do next.
Each month, you receive a written Progress Report so you can clearly see what your child is working on, what is improving, and what comes next.
This is not extra. This is included in every FuseLit plan.

Why This Matters
When students are taught at the wrong level, they either struggle or disengage.
When they are taught at the right level, with a clear plan and consistent support, they begin to understand, build confidence, and move forward.
That is what we focus on.
Does This Sound Familiar?
-
Your child tries hard but still feels behind.
-
Homework takes too long and ends in frustration.
-
Reading feels hard even when the words are familiar.
-
Writing feels overwhelming and your child does not know how to start.
-
Your child finishes classwork quickly and does not feel challenged.
-
Your child is ready to go deeper but the classroom cannot always keep up.
Tutoring Group Placement
At FuseLit, we do not guess at where your child should start. A short diagnostic gives us a clear picture of their skills, and from there we match them to a 1:1 session or a small group of up to students working at a similar level. Placement is based on what your child actually needs, not just their grade.

A Clear Starting Point
We pinpoint exactly where your child should begin so tutoring is targeted and efficient, not random.

Tutoring That Fits
Your child is placed in a 1:1 session or a small group matched to their level. Support is personalized every session, and movement is based on progress, not the calendar.

Proactive and Seamless
We share the earliest start option and transition your child into a small group as soon as a spot opens. One to one or one to two starts may be available.

Tutoring That Meets Your Child Where They Are
Whether your child is filling a gap, building confidence, or ready to be challenged, we start with a diagnostic assessment to find their exact starting point before anything else.
Our 1:1 and small group sessions are both built around your child's specific skills and goals. The small group sessions stay intentionally small so every student gets real attention every session. Students are placed by skill level and learning goal, not just grade.
Meet the Educator Behind FuseLit

Founded by Dr. Anecca Robinson, Ed.D., former instructional math coach, school administrator, and educator across Maryland, New York, and Texas.
After more than 20 years in education, Dr. Robinson built the FuseLit model from the same diagnostic first approach used to train teachers and school leaders. Every student receives that same level of structured, expert support.
Supporting Schools, Co-ops, and Community Organizations
FuseLit works alongside schools, homeschool co-ops, and nonprofits across the DMV to provide structured academic support that fits your context. We offer both K–12 tutoring programs and practical consulting and instructional coaching for your team.

Resources to Support Learning at Home and Beyond
The FuseLit Learning Hub is home to free educational resources, self-paced courses, and practical blog posts for parents and educators. Whether you're looking for a worksheet, a deeper dive into math concepts, or tips on supporting a struggling learner, it's all here.
What Other Parents Are Saying
What To Expect After Your Child Starts
Step 1
Start With a Diagnostic Assessment
We begin with a Quick Check during your child’s first session to identify the right starting point and the next skill to build.

Step 2
Learn in a Small Group With a Clear Plan
Your child joins a small group or 1:1 session and follows a clear plan that rebuilds missing skills and connects them to grade level work each week.

Step 3
Track Progress and Keep Moving Forward
We check progress every session and share regular updates with next steps so you can see what is improving and what to reinforce at home.
