Some kids need to catch up. Some are ready to go further. We work with both.

At FuseLit, every student starts with a real look at where they are. From there, we build a plan around their specific starting point, place them in a small group of students working at a similar level, and move forward based on their progress. Not a one-size-fits-all session. A structured program built around your child.

“Our daughter is finally confident in math again. She’s no longer confused or second‑guessing herself.”

– Ty'easha P., 7th grade parent, Odenton, MD

Why This Matters

Every student already brings something to the table, and every family comes with a different goal in mind. Our job is to understand both. Whether your child is filling a gap, preparing for what's ahead, or exploring subjects outside the classroom, we identify their exact starting point, build skills with purpose, and connect every session to where they're going. The goal isn't just to catch up. It's to move forward confidently, intentionally, on your child's terms.

Does This Sound Familiar?

  • Your child tries hard but still feels behind.

  • Homework takes too long and ends in frustration.

  • Reading feels hard even when the words are familiar.

  • Writing feels overwhelming and your child does not know how to star.

  • Your child finishes classwork quickly and does not feel challenged

  • Your child is ready to go deeper but the classroom cannot always keep up.

Tutoring Group Placement

At FuseLit Tutoring, placement is simple, fast, and personalized. Each student completes a short 5 to 8 minute Quick Check so we can identify the right starting point. From there, we match your child to a small group of up to 3 students based on grade level, subject, and your family’s schedule.

Tutoring That Meets Your Child Where They Are

Whether your child is filling a gap, building confidence, or ready to be challenged, we start with a diagnostic assessment to find their exact starting point — before anything else.

Our small group sessions are intentionally small, so every student gets real attention in every session. Students are grouped by skill level and learning goal, not just grade.

Meet the Educator Behind FuseLit

FuseLit was founded by Dr. Anecca Robinson, an educator with more than 20 years of experience inside public, charter, and independent schools across the country. She built FuseLit for two kinds of students: the child who is stuck, and the child who is ready to go further.

Every tutoring session at FuseLit is rooted in the same belief: students move forward faster when someone takes the time to find their real starting point.
