We collect only what we need to deliver services, operate programs, and meet legal requirements.

  • Parent or guardian information may include name, email, and phone number.

  • Student information may include name, grade level, school if applicable, learning goals, session notes, and progress updates.

  • Scheduling and billing information may include appointment history, plan type, invoices, and payment status. We do not store full card numbers.

  • Technology information may include IP address, device and browser type, and basic site usage data when you visit our website.

2. WHY WE COLLECT IT

We use information to:

  • Schedule sessions and provide tutoring and consulting services.

  • Create and update learning plans and progress updates.

  • Communicate with families and school or partner contacts.

  • Support billing, recordkeeping, safety, and service improvement.

3. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

FuseLit Education Group LLC complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable Maryland law. For learners under 13, we require verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information, unless a school provides consent as part of an authorized educational service. Parents may review, request deletion, or refuse further collection by contacting us.

Examples of consent methods may include:

  • A signed consent form

  • Verified email confirmation

  • Verified call back

  • School-provided consent when the district authorizes the service

4. SERVICE PROVIDERS

 

We use trusted providers to operate our services. Providers are expected to protect information and use it only to provide services on our behalf.

 

Current core providers may include:

 

  • Google for live video sessions. Sessions are not recorded by default.

  • Wix for website hosting, forms, scheduling, and payments. We do not store full card data.

5. DATA SHARING

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information may be shared with authorized service providers acting on our behalf, or as required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our students and staff.

6. DATA RETENTION

We retain student and family records for as long as necessary to provide services and meet legal obligations. Upon request, we will delete or de-identify personal information that is no longer required, subject to applicable legal requirements.

7. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER MARYLAND LAW

Maryland residents have rights under the Maryland Personal Information Protection Act (Md. Code Ann., Com. Law §§ 14-3501 et seq.) and related statutes, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you or your child. In the event of a data breach affecting Maryland residents, we will notify affected individuals in accordance with Maryland's data breach notification requirements.

8. SECURITY

We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
