Terms of Service — Families
Effective date: June 8, 2026
FuseLit Education Group LLC provides live tutoring for students in kindergarten through grade twelve, available online and in person, in 1:1 and small group formats. Session length varies based on your program, service type, and student need. Your confirmed session schedule will reflect the designated length for your plan.
Getting Started and Placement
Families start with a diagnostic and placement session. After the session, we will recommend a format and tutoring schedule based on your child's skill level and learning goals. Small groups may start with only one student and grow as students are placed. Groups are reviewed regularly and may merge when schedules align.
In-Person Services
Tutoring is available online and in person. In-person sessions are available within one hour of Anne Arundel County. Travel beyond that area is subject to a per-session travel surcharge of up to $50, confirmed at the time of booking.
Payments and Billing
Payment is due at checkout before tutoring begins. Plans bill in advance and auto-renew monthly on your renewal date or purchase date. Please purchase only when you are ready to start. Once purchased, start dates generally cannot be delayed or moved to a later date. To avoid being charged for the next month, cancel at least 7 days before your next billing date.
Cancellations do not take effect mid-cycle. If we ever need to align billing dates, we may adjust your subscription payment date and apply a credit or additional charge for the shortened or extended cycle, as applicable. Payments are processed through Wix and our connected payment provider. FuseLit Education does not store full card numbers.
Lateness, Rescheduling, and No-Shows
Sessions end at the scheduled time. If a student arrives more than 15 minutes late, the session may be treated as a no-show and counted as used. Please reschedule at least 24 hours in advance when possible. To request scheduling changes, email support@fuseliteducation.com.
Missed sessions and late cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are counted as used. Because tutoring is delivered in small groups, make-up sessions are not guaranteed. If FuseLit Education must cancel a session or a platform issue prevents the session from running, we will reschedule or apply a credit at no cost to you.
Session Usage and Rollover
Monthly plans are intended to be used within the monthly billing cycle. Unused sessions do not roll over unless agreed upon in writing. We may recommend a different schedule after the first month if a student needs a change. FuseLit Education does not guarantee specific grades, test outcomes, or timelines.
Refunds
Payments for the current billing cycle are non-refundable, except when FuseLit Education is unable to deliver remaining sessions or as required by law. If you believe a billing error occurred, contact support@fuseliteducation.com within 7 days of the charge.
Conduct and Closures
Use of services is governed by our Privacy Policy. Students and families are expected to be respectful and refrain from disruptive behavior. We observe federal holidays and planned closures and will reschedule or apply a credit when possible.
